I noticed that you cross-referenced other video games to express what your inspiration was. Fallout, L4D, Dead Island (although I'm not quite sure about Dead Island), etc.

And not keeping the player constrained behind a barricade of junk was also a good take.

There, i will admit, were scares which grasped my horror, mostly when zombies popped through the ceiling.

The major highlight was the vast RPG elements that wrapped the game up for a nice and neat (in a distorted way) package. Good job Con Artist. Good job indeed.

Until I saw the name and read a few reviews, i did not think about what this was a picture of. So it is of the seduction of Adam from Eve to eat from the apple? Classic idea, modern feel.
